Silent Book Club is a global community of readers with nearly 2,000 chapters in 60+ countries led by local volunteers. SBC members gather in person and online to read together in quiet camaraderie.
Often with traditional book clubs there’s the scramble to finish the assigned book, and the pressure to have something smart to say. At Silent Book Club there is no assigned reading and no pressure. It’s a BYOB(ook) with a difference where you just enjoy books, friends, company of fellow bibliophiles and F&B (if available at the venue)—without any homework.Â
We meet twice a month on a Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In the summers we meet in Delhi at the Library, Goethe Institut/ Max Muller Bhavan and in Gurgaon at Museo Camera. In winters we meet in Delhi at the picturesque Sunder Nursery and in Gurgaon at the lovely Patio of Museo Camera.
